Movie:Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert

The concert/docu film,Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, gave Hannah Montana fans an opportunity to relive the memories of the "Best of Both Worlds" tour. This is also a great treat for those who did not get the chance to see the show live because the tour usually sold out within hours of going public. The Walt Disney Picture was presented in Disney Digital 3-D. It was released in the U.S. and Canada originally for one week, February 1-7, 2008, with releases in other countries later on. The film was rated G by the MPAA.

The Movie will be released in the United Kingdom on March 14, 2008 and in Australia and Chile on March 20, 2008.

The Movie is about Miley Ray Cyrus on her Best of Both Worlds Tour as Hannah Montana, with film clips taken from her performance in Salt Lake City, Utah. Behind-the-scenes clips are shown also, showing the conversion from Hannah Montana to Miley Cyrus backstage, and the atmosphere of the production. It is noted that there's no connection with the television series since this is a concert combined with documentary elements.

Critics gave the movie favorable reviews. The 3D movie brought in $8,651,758 on its opening day, and continued on to gross $31,117,834 at the end of the weekend. This made it the highest-grossing opening weekend for a film released in under 1000 screens. The movie is not only the highest-grossing 3D movie 3-Day release, its also the highest-grossing concert movie and highest opening weekend during Super Bowl Weekend. The following Monday, it pulled in $3,253,205. The film ranks second only behind Borat.

Miley Ray Cyrus Brings A little Joy To Sick Youngsters

On January 6th Miley visited the Children’s National Medical Centert before her concert in Washington D.c. The teen pop star paid a visit to the Georgetown University Medical Center and Children’s Hospital as part of the Tracy’s Kids charity.

Cyrus who recently had her name legally change to Miley Ray Cyrus met with approximately 100 parents and their children and posed for oodles of pictures and signed autographs for all the sick youngsters. She really did put a smile on their faces and made them forget their the pain for a moment.

Miley Cyrus who plays Disney's Hannah Montana is now legally Miley Ray Cyrus in honor of her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus, born Destiny Hope Cyrus, adopted her childhood nickname "Miley", short for "Smiley" as her stage name.

I personally think she should keep the Destiny Hope making a full name Miley Ray Destiny Hope Cyrus with the short version being Miley Ray Cyrus. Most people never really know that people have other names unless if you're a celebrity. I think children should be allowed to choose their names while keeping their original birth names. I like Miley Ray Destiny Hope Cyrus. It sounds complete and right.

Hannah Montana's Miley Cyrus is donating one dollar of each ticket sold from her Best of Both world's tour to the City of Hope Foundation. What is the City of Hope Foundation and what do they really do?

City of Hope is a leading research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. The City of Hope Foundation primary function is fighting cancer.
City of Hope is one of 39 NCI(National Cancer Institute)-designated Cancer Centers and is located in the city of Duarte, California.

City of Hope of Hope comprises an ambulatory and in-patient cancer treatment center as well as a biomedical research facility known as the Beckman Research Institute and the City of Hope Graduate School of Biological Sciences. Another Cancer Center of great importance to kids all over the world is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Memphis, TN)

Miley Cyrus Gives Hannah Montana Fans Early Christmas Present

On December 12, Miley Cyrus of Disney's Hannah Montana announced that an additional 14 concerts have been added to The Best of Both World's Tour. Beginning in Detroit on January 11 and ending in Miami on January 31. The Jonas Brothers, the opening act for the tour will be replaced by Aly & AJ from January 11 to January 24.

The tour follows the June 2007 release of Cyrus's double album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. The tour began on October 18, 2007 in St. Louis, Missouri and was scheduled to end on January 9, 2008 in Albany, New York.

Best of Both Worlds Tour is a 2007-2008 North American concert tour featuring singer, songwriter and actress Miley Cyrus of the hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. She performs as a solo artist and in character as Hannah Montana. The tour is named after the theme song for the series, "The Best of Both Worlds", which reflects the dual nature of the series' character. The tour has become the most wanted concert tickets of 2007. The concert tour was created and directed by Kenny Ortega, the director of High School Musical and High School Musical 2.

One dollar of each ticket from the tour will go to benefit the City of Hope Foundation, which helps in fighting against cancer.

She may not be old enough to drink but she sure has become one of Hollywood's Top Entertainers. Quite a big deal for someone who just turned 15.
